Wheeler is a Christian horror thriller set in a veterans' hospital in La Verdad, San Diego.

Steven Crane, a lonely Iraq War veteran, is admitted to the VA hospital with an infected old wound. He nearly dies in his hospital bed, and such attempts are not unusual at this hospital. He becomes part of an investigation as the detective battles the hospital administrator, who is determined to keep the suspicious deaths under wraps. Steven befriends Psychiatrist Dr. Skye Reed, who works to unravel the mystery behind his unbelievable encounter.
